Summary:
Market, Sell and Processes inquiries and orders for parts received from Exterran third-party clients, both domestic and international.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  •          Receive, interpret and process parts inquiries and orders for price, nomenclature and parts verification for Exterran or other packager equipment or skid mounted items. The parts analyst either accepts or rejects the order based on standard terms of sale.
  •          Understands basic irrevocable letter of credit terms for international orders received.
  •          Must be detail oriented to ensure audit requirements are met for orders received.
  •          Informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information required by the customer.
  •          Must be able to enter data into the order entry system consistent with the inquiry and order received.
  • Required Skills or Tools:
    •          Must be able to work within all phases of a computer, to assist with order entry, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and word processing. 
    •          Excellence in "customer service" must be a driving force that assists the individual with fulfilling all responsibilities of the job.
    •          Must be able to make sound business decisions that directly affect financial concerns for Exterran.
    •          Individual must be prepared to handle large dollar amount orders, and perform effectively. Parts coverage is expected 24 hours a day, weekends and holidays utilizing a pager on a rotating basis.
    •          Must be able to source material for competitive pricing from suppliers to provide an effective presentation for price submission to the customer.
    •          Must have mentoring capabilities to assist peers with the order flow process.
     
    Preferred Education/Experience:
    •          Must possess informational knowledge on basic engine, cooler and package parts for compression/production equipment. 
    •          Individual must be able to communicate with customers and utilize telephone selling techniques. 
    •          Utilizing a teamwork concept, the analyst must be prepared to assist with the group as needed.

    •          Bachelor’s degree preferred, and or a minimum of fifteen years experience.
