Yoh Health Care has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Guymon, OK. Our customer is an operator of acute care hospitals and clinics throughout the United States. They have a full time opening for a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to work onsite in a corporate health unit clinic in Guymon, Oklahoma. Description:
The nurse practitioner/physician assistant provides medical services to clients to include conducting physical health assessments, making differential diagnoses and prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and injuries within the scope of state regulations governing advanced practice. The nurse practitioner/physician assistant serves as a member of a health care team with primary responsibilities related to management of health care for certain patients as assigned. The nurse practitioner/physician assistant is expected to foster, promote, and restore client health through the development and use of prepared wellness materials and by collaborating with physicians and other multi-disciplinary team members to provide physical and psychosocial support to employees.
 
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Nurse Practitioner program and OK state licensure as nurse practitioner OR Physician Assistant program with OK state license.
  • National certification as a family nurse practitioner or physician assistant. 
  • Ability to provide emergency care, in particular cardiac care. 
  • Computer literacy and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. 
  • Two to four years of clinical nursing experience in a nurse practitioner/physician assistant role is preferred. 
  • Occupational health experience would be a benefit.     
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
